1. Why does my N5S keep saying "Format SD Card"?
This usually means the card is either too slow (not U3 rated) or it's corrupt. Because the N5S writes 4 streams of video at once, it's super fussy. Formatting it inside the camera menu usually fixes it for a bit, but if it keeps happening, you need a new High Endurance card. No dramas, just swap it out.
2. What is the default Wi-Fi password?
The default password for the Vantrue N5S Wi-Fi is 12345678. Connect via the Vantrue App (Android or iOS) to view your footage or change settings.
3. Parking Mode isn't working / Camera turns off with the car?
The N5S has a capacitor, not a battery, so it won't stay on without power. To use Parking Mode (Collision or Motion Detection), you 100% need a Hardwire Kit connected to your fuse box. This gives it constant power while protecting your car battery from going flat.
4. Why is there no GPS speed on my playback?
Double-check the mount! The power cable must be plugged into the mount, not the camera body directly, for the GPS to work. Also, ensure "GPS Stamp" is turned ON in the menu settings.
