How It Works
1. Upload it. Send your clip or photo and tell us a little about it.
2. We review it. We check every submission. If it's clear, usable and suits our channels, we'll get it ready to share, including blurring number plates or faces if you ask.
3. Get $20 store credit. When your clip or photo goes live, we'll email you a $20 store credit code to use on anything in our store.
Send your footage to gday@dashcamguys.com.au. For big 4K files, use a free service like WeTransfer, Google Drive or Dropbox and email us the link.
Before You Submit
Your privacy, your call. We can blur number plates and faces, trim your clip or mute the audio before anything goes live. Just tick the boxes in the form.
Credit how you like. Tell us whether you'd like your name, your social handle, or to stay anonymous.
Open matters. Please don't send footage that's part of an open police, insurance or court matter unless you've checked it's OK to share.
Filmed legally. Footage must be your own and recorded legally, which means dash cam footage, not a phone held while driving.
Terms of Submission
By submitting photos or video footage to The Dash Cam Guys, you confirm that:
- You own the content, or have the owner's permission to share it.
- It was recorded in Australia and recorded legally.
- It is not part of an open police, insurance or court matter, or you have checked it's OK to share.
- You are 18 or over, or submitting with a parent or guardian's permission.
Your content, our licence. You keep ownership of your content. You grant The Dash Cam Guys a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual and worldwide licence to use, edit (including trimming, blurring and removing audio), reproduce and display it for marketing, social media, advertising and website purposes, and to credit you as you've chosen. If you'd like us to stop using your content, email gday@dashcamguys.com.au. We'll remove it from our website and won't use it in new material, but posts already shared may remain.
$20 store credit. One $20 store credit is issued per featured submission, sent by email as a gift card code once your content goes live. Store credit can't be exchanged for cash. Whether a submission is featured is at our discretion, and we can't feature every one. This is not a competition or a prize draw.
Your details. Open to Australian residents only. We collect your name, contact details and submission details to review your submission, credit you and send your store credit, as set out in our Privacy Policy.

Footage Submission Privacy Statement
This statement explains how The Dash Cam Guys handles personal information when you submit photos or video through our Submit Your Footage program. It adds to our Privacy Policy.
What we collect. Your name, email address, phone number (if provided), state and suburb, the date your footage was recorded, your dash cam brand and model, how you'd like to be credited, and the photos or video you send us.
Why we collect it. To review your submission, contact you about it, credit you as you've chosen, and send your $20 store credit if it's featured.
Publishing your submission. If we feature your submission, we may publish it on our website and social media channels (including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok) with your chosen credit: your name, first name, social handle, or anonymous. We don't publish your email address, phone number or suburb.
Other people in footage. Footage can show other people, vehicles and number plates. We review every clip before publishing and blur number plates or faces on request, or where we consider it appropriate. If you appear in a clip we've published and want it blurred or removed, email gday@dashcamguys.com.au and we'll deal with it promptly.
Storage and service providers. Submissions are received and stored using third party services, including our online form provider and cloud storage (Microsoft OneDrive or Google Drive), and file transfer services such as WeTransfer if you choose to use them. These providers may store information outside Australia, including in the United States.
How long we keep it. We keep submissions we don't use for up to 12 months, then delete them. Featured submissions and the details needed to show you've agreed to our Submission Terms are kept while the content is in use.
Access, correction and removal. You can ask to see or correct the information we hold about you, or ask us to stop using your submission, by emailing gday@dashcamguys.com.au.
