📍 Aussie Fitment Tip: Skoda shares a lot of its electrical DNA with the wider VW group, which makes this a brilliantly straightforward install. The main thing you need to watch out for is whether your specific trim level actually has the rain/light sensor installed from the factory. If you've got the sensor behind your rearview mirror, you're in business!

Step 1: Does your Skoda have the right sensor?

Dongar adapters need to tap into the rain/light sensor behind your mirror.

Standard on All Trims: Great news for owners of the Elroq (2025–2026), Enyaq (2021–2026), and Superb (2024–2026)- the required sensor comes standard across the board.

Select Trim Levels Only: For the models below, you must check that your specific trim includes the factory rain/light sensor (usually found on mid-to-top spec models or as part of a tech pack):

Fabia (2022–2026) = DCA-3W2

Kamiq (2019–2026) = DCA-3W2

Karoq (2018–2026) = DCA-3W2

Octavia (2020–2026) = DCA-3W2

Scala (2019–2026) = DCA-3W2

Step 2: Grab the right adapter

Once you know your car has the correct sensor, simply pop off the plastic cover behind your mirror. Unlike some other brands that mix and match plugs, Skoda keeps it beautifully consistent:

All Compatible Skoda Models (2018–2026): Your car will use the DCA-3W2 adapter.
