Common Questions (FAQ)
1. What's the default WiFi password?
It's usually 12345678. If that doesn't work, you might have changed it previously - you'll need to reset the cam to factory settings in the menu to get it back to default.
2. Why does it keep saying "Card Error" or "Format Card"?
This usually happens if you're using a cheap SD card or one that's too slow. The N2X needs a high-endurance, Class 10, U3 microSD card (like the Vantrue High Endurance card). Also, make sure you format the card inside the camera every month to keep it running smooth.
3. How big of an SD card can I use?
The Vantrue N2X supports up to 512GB. That's heaps of space - plenty for long shifts if you're driving Uber or doing long-haul trips.
4. Why won't it turn on when I unplug it?
No dramas, that's normal. The N2X uses a supercapacitor, not a battery. It's designed to hold power just long enough to save the file when you turn the car off. It needs constant power (via cigarette lighter or hardwire kit) to run.
