Subaru Dash Cam Adapters | Outback, Forester & XV/Crosstrek Fitment

Keep your Subaru’s interior clutter-free with a discrete power solution. While we’re ready for future releases like the PRO and Classic+ series, The Dash Cam Guys currently only stock the Dongar Classic (DCA-xxx series). It’s the easiest way to get ignition-switched power to your camera without messy cables or permanent modifications.

📍 Aussie Fitment Tip: Subaru is fairly consistent across the fleet. The 10-pin (DCA-10B) fits almost every late-model Forester and Outback with an auto-dimming mirror. If you’re in a slightly older model or a specific trim of the XV/Crosstrek, look for the 5-pin (DCA-5E) connector instead.

Outback (BT) 2021–2025 AWD, Sport, Touring, XT = DCA-5E

Outback (BS) 2015–2020 2.5i, 3.6R, Premium = DCA-10B

XV / Crosstrek (GU) 2023–2025 L, R, S, Premium = DCA-10B

XV (GT) 2017–2022 L, Premium, S = DCA-5E (Check Plug)

WRX (VB) 2022–2025 Sedan & Sportswagon (RS, tS) = DCA-10X (Check Plug)

WRX (VA) 2019–2025 Premium, STI = DCA-5E (Check Plug)

Impreza (GU & GK) 2019–2026 All trims with Auto-Dimming Mirror = DCA-5E

BRZ (ZD8) 2019–2025 S, tS = DCA-3A

3-Pin Type A

Found in various Subaru models pre-2017 and in all Subaru BRZ and Toyota GR86 from 2013 and on. Requires accessing the connector in the overhead console (aka domelight) cavity!

10-pin Type B

The most common port found on newer Subaru. This is the same adapter as our Toyota 10-pin Type B product.

12-pin Type A

Found on older Subaru with framed mirror such as Crosstrek, WRX, Impreza approx 2010-2015. This is the same adapter as our Toyota Tacoma 12-pin adapter.
