You have fitted a G900 Pro or TriPro to the dual-cab, run the rear cable neatly down the side of the vehicle, and come up about two metres short of the canopy. This extension adds 3m of weather-sealed reach so you can finish the job properly, without replacing the whole loom and without cutting into anything.

Extension or Replacement Loom? Here Is How to Choose

• Short by a couple of metres, and you have the waterproof IP67 plug: this extension is the cheap, quick answer.
• Short by a long way, or fitting a bus, truck or motorhome: use a full-length 10m or 15m replacement loom instead. One continuous cable beats a join every time on a long run.
• You have the plain non-waterproof 6-pin plug: this extension will not mate with it. You need the standard-plug replacement loom.

Who This Isn't For

Rear cameras using the plain non-waterproof 6-pin plug, the TriPro bumper camera (AUX to 4-pin), older WOLFBOX models such as the G890 and G850, and any non-WOLFBOX dash cam. The connector shape decides it, not the brand badge.

Why Weather-Sealed Reach Matters

Extending a rear camera on a ute, caravan or canopy build means the join usually ends up outside the cabin, in the path of dust and road spray. An unsealed connector in that position corrodes, and corrosion on a signal line does not fail cleanly. It flickers, drops out over bumps and comes good again in the workshop, which is the most frustrating fault there is. The IP67 seal is what stops that happening. Mount the join somewhere you can reach it anyway, and cable-tie it so its weight never hangs on the connector.

Frequently Asked Questions

• Q: Will this work with older WOLFBOX models? Only if the rear camera uses the same waterproof 6-pin connector. The G890 and G850 do not. Check your existing plug before ordering.
• Q: Is this the same as the longer 10m or 15m replacement cable? No. This adds 3m to your existing cable. The 10m and 15m looms replace the factory lead entirely and are the better option for very long runs.
• Q: Does the cable need separate power? No. It carries power and signal through the existing WOLFBOX loom.
