The VIOFO A329S is a powerhouse, but with great 4K performance comes the question: how long can my battery last? We took the A329S in a 2-Channel Telephoto configuration and put it through its paces with the HK6 Hardwire Kit to find out.


Driving Mode Power Draw

While driving with Front 4K and Telephoto Rear cameras active, the unit draws approximately 0.36A (4.5W). Standard for a high-performance dual-channel system.

Parking Mode: The Golden Feature (HK6 Required)

If you own a Hybrid or EV with a small 12V starter battery, this is where Low Power Impact Detection mode shines.

  • The Result: Just 0.033A (0.4W).
  • The Performance: Even in Deep Sleep, the camera wakes up and starts recording in under a second when an impact is detected.
