Most adhesive failures are install failures rather than product failures. Household glass cleaner leaves a surfactant film that adhesive cannot grip, so use isopropyl alcohol instead. Fit above 15 °C, press firmly for a full 30 to 60 seconds rather than a quick push, and leave it a day before driving. Do that and a 3M pad will hold through an Australian summer.
