Refit Your A329S Without a Trip to the Installer. Genuine 3M spare adhesive stickers

Adhesive is the part of an install that gives up first, and it is almost always summer that does it. A dashboard in full Australian sun regularly passes 70 °C, which softens the pad until the camera sags or lets go entirely. These are the genuine VIOFO spares, so a refit is a few dollars and ten minutes instead of a service call.

Trusted AU store: We're an authorised AU reseller, shipping from Melbourne within 24 hours*. You get a 12-month warranty on this accessory, local technical support, and our 30-Day No-Worries returns.

Who This Isn't For: These pads are cut for the A329S front and rear mounts. If you run a different VIOFO model, pick the pads made for it. They also fit the earlier A329. Fitting a static sticker to the glass first is worth doing if you may move the camera later.

DCG Score & Highlights

What We Love

  • Genuine 3M stickers cut to the A329S mount, so no trimming and no guesswork
  • Turns a sagging mount into a ten-minute fix rather than a workshop visit
  • Front and rear pads in the one kit
  • Cheap enough to keep a spare in the glovebox before summer

What Could Be Better

  • Shaped for the A329S mounts, so check your model first if you run a different VIOFO.
  • Bonding straight to glass leaves residue when removed, so use a static sticker underneath if you may reposition.
  • Needs an isopropyl clean and 24 hours to cure before it faces real heat.

Why Adhesive Fails, and How to Stop It

Most adhesive failures are install failures. Household glass cleaner leaves a surfactant film that adhesive cannot grip, so use isopropyl alcohol instead. Fit above 15 °C, press firmly for a full 30 to 60 seconds rather than a quick push, and leave it a day before driving. Done properly, a 3M pad holds through an Australian summer.

Top Benefits

  • Cheap fix: Restores a sagging mount for a few dollars.
  • Correct fit: Pre-cut for the A329S mount, so nothing needs trimming.
  • Heat ready: Genuine 3M adhesive rated for a hot dashboard.
  • Keep a spare: Worth having on hand before the weather turns.

FAQ

  • Q: Will these fit other VIOFO models? → A: They’re cut for the A329S front and rear mounts, and they also fit the earlier A329. For any other VIOFO model, choose the pads made for it.
  • Q: Can I reuse a pad after removal? → A: No. VHB pads are single use. Replace with a fresh pad for safety and best adhesion.
  • Q: Do they stick over the dotted frit? → A: Bond is weaker on heavy frit. Aim for clear glass or use a clear static film plate as a base.
  • Q: How long before I can drive? → A: Press on for 60 seconds, then allow 24 hours before driving. Full adhesive cure can take up to 72 hours.
  • Q: What’s the warranty? → A: VIOFO accessories carry 12 months manufacturer warranty; cameras are 18 months.
