On a bright day the inside of your windscreen reflects the dash straight back into the lens, and the camera records that reflection over the road ahead. It is the single most common reason daytime plates come out unreadable, and no setting in the app will fix it, because the glare is polarised light that becomes part of the image the moment it hits the sensor. Who This Isn't For: This fits the front camera of WOLFBOX mirror dash cams only, not the rear or cabin cameras. It also costs you some light, so if you drive mostly after dark you may prefer to fit it for summer and take it off in winter. It will not fit the X3, X5 or i07, which are not mirror units.
