Move Your WOLFBOX Cabin Camera to Where It Can See. 5.5m of reach for the G900 TriPro interior cam

The G900 TriPro Cabin ships with its interior camera on a 0.5 m lead, so the camera has to live right beside the mirror. From there, front-seat occupants and headrests can block a good part of the rear row. This genuine WOLFBOX 5.5 m replacement lead lets you mount the camera further back along the headliner, facing the seats you actually want on record: a baby seat in the second row, rideshare passengers, or the back of a seven-seater, inside a ute canopy or a van.

Check Your Camera Before You Order

This cable has a right-angle 3.5 mm 4-pole jack that plugs into the AV port on the mirror, and a right-angle USB-C plug that goes into the back of the cabin camera. It replaces the short factory lead end to end, so there is no join in the run.

It suits the infrared cabin camera on the WOLFBOX G900 TriPro and nothing else. If the camera on the end of your short lead has a USB-C socket in the back and four small infrared LEDs around the lens, you have the right one. Not sure? Email a photo of both plugs to gday@dashcamguys.com.au and we will confirm it before you order.

Who This Isn't For

WOLFBOX G900 Pro owners (the two-channel model has no cabin camera), the TriPro bumper camera, which uses an AUX to 4-pin cable, any rear camera on the 6-pin looms, and interior cameras from other brands. A USB-C plug on another brand's cabin camera does not mean it will work. WOLFBOX lists this as a dedicated design for its own camera, and we have not tested it with anything else.

DCG Score & Highlights

What We Love

  • Genuine WOLFBOX cable with the correct 3.5 mm jack and USB-C plug for the TriPro cabin camera
  • Eleven times the length of the 0.5 m factory lead, so the camera can sit above the second row
  • A straight replacement, with no join, no splicing and nothing to cut
  • Right-angle plugs at both ends sit flatter against the mirror and camera housings

What Could Be Better

  • 5.5 m is more than a small hatch or sedan needs, so plan where the spare loop will hide
  • Neither plug is weather-sealed, so this is an interior cable only
  • Fits the TriPro cabin camera only, with no cross-compatibility

Why Camera Position Decides Your Cabin Footage

An interior camera can only record what it can see, and from beside the mirror it mostly sees the front seats. Move it back and up, and the view opens out across the rear row, which is where rideshare disputes, kids unbuckling themselves and things going missing from the back seat tend to happen. Infrared light also falls off with distance, so a camera mounted closer to the rear row will generally light it better at night. Route the cable along the headliner edge and keep it clear of the curtain airbags along the roof rails.

Top Benefits

  • Full rear-row view: Mount the cabin camera above the second row instead of beside the mirror.
  • Keep an eye on the baby seat: See the back seat at a glance on the mirror screen.
  • Rideshare ready: A headliner mount behind the front seats gives a clearer view of your passengers.
  • Bigger vehicles covered: Enough reach for large SUVs, seven-seaters, dual-cab utes and vans.
  • Clean install: One continuous cable from mirror to camera, with nothing to cut or join.

FAQ

  • Q: Is this an extension or a replacement? A replacement. Unplug the short factory lead at both ends and plug this one in. There is no join in the run.
  • Q: Will it fit my G900 Pro? No. The G900 Pro is a two-channel camera with no cabin camera. This cable is for the G900 TriPro only.
  • Q: Can I run the cabin camera and the bumper camera at the same time? No. On the TriPro they share the same port on the mirror, so it is one or the other. A longer cabin cable does not change that.
  • Q: Will it work with the bumper camera? No. The bumper camera uses a 4-pin plug. For a longer bumper run, see the TriPro Longer Bumper Cam Cable.
  • Q: Where should I mount the camera? For a baby seat or rideshare passengers, the centre of the headliner just behind the front seats is a good starting point. Check the view on the mirror screen before you stick it down, and keep the cable clear of the curtain airbags along the roof rails.
  • Q: I have lost or damaged the cabin camera itself. Do you sell it? Yes. The G900 TriPro Cabin Camera is sold separately.
