Cover the Cabin as Well as the Road, Without a Camera in Your Eyeline. The VIOFO T330 3CH is a screenless three-channel dash cam recording 4K front, 2K rear and a 210 degree cabin view

Here is the catch with most three-channel setups: the moment you add a cabin camera, the whole rig gets bigger and more obvious. A screened unit sits in your line of sight, passengers notice the interior lens, and the footage still misses the side windows where a lot of the trouble actually happens. Adding the third channel should not cost you the windscreen.

Trusted AU store: We're an authorised Australian reseller, shipping from Melbourne within 24 hours*. You get an 18-month warranty with no product registration required, local technical support, and our 30-Day No-Worries returns.

Who This Isn't For: The cabin camera runs on a 1 metre cable, so it has to sit close to the front camera near the mirror. If you drive a van or a bus and want the interior lens further back down the vehicle, look at the other models in our 3-channel dash cam range instead. This one suits cars, SUVs, utes and taxis where the cabin view starts at the mirror.

DCG Highlights

What We Love

  • Sony STARVIS 2 sensors on all three channels, an IMX678 up front and IMX675 on the rear and cabin, so the two extra channels are not the afterthought sensors that fall apart after dark
  • HDR running on the front, rear and interior at the same time, which is what keeps a number plate readable when you drive into low sun or out of a dark car park into daylight
  • A 210 degree fisheye interior lens with infrared LEDs, wide enough to take in both front seats and both side windows with the cabin light off
  • Screenless front body that tucks behind the rearview mirror, so nothing glows back at you on a night drive and there is nothing obvious for a passenger to look at
  • Dual-band Wi-Fi 6 on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, which is the difference between pulling a 4K clip onto your phone in the car park and waiting until you get home
  • The front CPL filter is in the box and clips on magnetically, so you can take it off to clean it without unclipping the camera from the mount
  • Five parking modes rather than one, so you choose between full cover and conserving the car battery instead of taking whatever the camera decides
  • Tamper-resistant cover with four screws and a hex key supplied, which makes the memory card and the power lead harder to pull out in a hurry

Good to Know

  • Parking mode of any kind needs the VIOFO HK6-F hardwire kit, bought separately. The car charger in the box powers the camera only while the engine is running.
  • No memory card is included. The camera takes a microSD card up to 512 GB, and three channels at 4K and 2K fill a card quickly.
  • The front camera records 4K at 30 fps in this three-channel version. The two-channel T330 is the one that runs 4K at 60 fps.
  • There is no screen on any part of this camera. Setup, playback and settings all happen in the VIOFO app over Wi-Fi.

Why the Cabin Lens Angle Matters More Than Its Resolution

A cabin camera earns its place by what it can see, not by how many pixels it records. Most interior lenses sit somewhere between 140 and 160 degrees, which frames the two front seats and the rearview mirror and stops there. That is fine right up until the incident happens at a window: a dispute at the kerb, someone reaching in while you are stopped, a door opened into a passing cyclist. Those events live at the edges of the cabin, and a 160 degree lens simply does not have them in frame.

The VIOFO T330 3CH uses a 210 degree fisheye at F2.2 with infrared LEDs on the interior channel, which takes in both front seats and both side windows at once, in the dark, without any cabin lighting. The trade-off is worth stating plainly: a fisheye bends straight lines towards the edge of frame, so a face near the window reads wider than it is in life. You are buying coverage, not portraiture.

Top Benefits

  • Evidence from inside too: the 210 degree infrared fisheye covers both front seats and both side windows in the dark, which is the view a rideshare or taxi driver actually needs.
  • Sharper plates after dark: Sony STARVIS 2 sensors on every channel, not just the front one, so the rear and cabin footage holds detail at night.
  • Nothing in your eyeline: the screenless front body hides behind the rearview mirror, leaving the windscreen clear.
  • Clips off the card in minutes: dual-band Wi-Fi 6 sends 4K files to the VIOFO app without unplugging anything or pulling the card.
  • Parked cover you can tune: five parking modes, from hybrid recording down to low-power impact detection, so you set the balance between coverage and battery draw.
  • Harder to interfere with: the supplied tamper-resistant cover and screws sit over the card slot and the power port.
  • Location on every frame: the built-in GPS logger stamps speed and coordinates onto the footage, which is the context an insurer asks for.

How It Installs

  1. Stick the front camera behind the rearview mirror using the supplied static windscreen sticker and adhesive pad, then clip the magnetic CPL filter onto the lens.
  2. Run the 6 metre rear cable down the A-pillar, along the headlining and back to the rear window, tucking it into the trim with the trim removal tool in the box. Fit the rear camera to the inside of the rear glass.
  3. Run the 1 metre interior cable to the fisheye cabin camera and mount it near the mirror, facing back into the cabin.
  4. Power it from the supplied 3.5 metre car charger for a plug-and-drive setup, or from a VIOFO HK6-F hardwire kit if you want parking mode.
  5. Fit the tamper-resistant cover with the four screws and the supplied hex key.

Allow around an hour for a tidy do-it-yourself run on the car charger, and longer if you are hardwiring. It does involve easing trim panels off to hide the cabling.

Fitment and Compatibility

  • Vehicles: any car, SUV, ute, van or taxi with a windscreen that will take a behind-the-mirror mount. Nothing about the camera is make or model specific.
  • Power: DC 5V 2A through USB-C. The supplied car charger runs from a 12V socket. The HK6-F hardwire kit covers 12V and 24V vehicle systems.
  • Parking mode: requires the VIOFO HK6-F hardwire kit. The HK6-F is also what enables cut-off voltage protection and the Bluetooth battery voltage read-out.
  • Memory cards: microSD up to 512 GB, U3 A2 V30 rated. VIOFO recommend their own industrial cards for continuous recording.
  • Filters: the CPL-700 front filter is in the box. The rear camera takes the optional CPL-600. The interior camera does not need one.
  • Remote: Bluetooth is built in and works with the optional VIOFO BTR200 remote, up to about 5 metres.
  • Not compatible with: the cable lengths we stock are the 6 metre rear and 1 metre interior only. Longer interior cables exist in VIOFO's range but we do not carry them, so if your interior camera needs to sit further back than the mirror, contact us on our contact page before you order.
  • Australian fitment: the mount is universal and the camera is right-hand-drive agnostic. The interior camera framing is symmetrical, so it works the same from either side.

Proactive voice alerts keep you informed of memory card errors or setting changes for total peace of mind on the road. Note: supports English, Chinese (Mandarin), Russian, and Japanese for voice control.

From city drives to cross-country trips, the T330 keeps every mile documented. Quad-mode satellite coverage (GPS, BeiDou, Galileo, and GLONASS) provides clear, reliable records of your speed, location, and timestamps on every video playback.

One Single File, Instant Sharing

Merge multiple camera feeds into a single video file for full-coverage playback. The T330 makes it easy to generate multi-perspective footage that's ready to review, export, or share instantly, with no editing required. Merging front, rear, and interior views into one synchronized file, delivering a complete, indisputable event record in a single video.

Parking Mode: 24/7 Peace of Mind

Note: to use parking mode, a VIOFO HK6-F hardwire kit is required and sold separately. Cut-off voltage is only available with the VIOFO HK6-F hardwire kit.

Capture More, Consume Less. Hybrid parking starts in time-lapse, low-bitrate or event-detection recording, then switches to impact detection once your set cut-off time or battery voltage is reached.

Ultra-Low Draw, Instant Guard. Very low power draw makes this mode ideal for long parking sessions. The T330 waits in standby with impact detection always on, waking within 2 seconds to record a one-minute clip.

Capture footage without audio at optional frame rates of 1 / 2 / 3 / 5 / 10 fps to conserve storage space and power. With Super Night Vision, the time-lapse footage is brighter and clearer, even in near-total darkness. Records continuously at a reduced bitrate to extend recording time and save storage while parked. Detects motion and impacts around your parked car, automatically saving the moments before and after each event.

Set Zones, Save Power. Define trusted locations, your home garage or workplace, and the T330 shuts down there instead of entering parking mode. Enable Low Power Impact Recording to keep impact detection on inside those zones. If voltage ever drops below the level set on the hardwire kit's cutoff switch, power is cut entirely to protect the battery.

Longer Parking, Zero Battery Drain

Pair with the VIOFO BP100 or BP60 battery pack (sold separately) and parking mode runs on the battery pack's own power, for hours longer, with your vehicle battery untouched. Connected to the battery pack, the dash cam reads its level wirelessly and ends parking recording at the reserve you choose (5% / 8% / 10% / 15%). The reserve keeps impact detection armed, so the camera can still wake and record if the car is hit. Check the battery pack level on the app home screen, even while the dash cam is off.

Press It, Protect It

One touch is all it takes. Alongside automatic G-sensor impact locking, the side button lets you instantly secure key moments whenever you want. Footage of road incidents, hit-and-runs, or close calls won't be overwritten easily.

FAQ

  • Q: What size memory card should I get for three channels? A: 256 GB or 512 GB. Three channels running one 4K and two 2K streams write far more data per hour than a single front camera, so a 128 GB card loops over quickly and you can lose an older clip before you go looking for it. VIOFO support cards up to 512 GB and recommend their own industrial high-endurance range for continuous recording.
  • Q: Does the cabin camera see anything at night without the interior light on? A: Yes. The interior camera has infrared LEDs built around the lens, so it records in complete darkness without lighting up the cabin. The footage comes out monochrome under infrared rather than in colour, which is normal and is how every infrared cabin camera behaves.
  • Q: Can I turn the microphone off? A: Yes. There is a dedicated microphone on and off control, a microphone status LED on the front camera, and you can also toggle it by voice command or with the optional BTR200 Bluetooth remote. The camera keeps recording video with the audio track muted.
  • Q: Do I have to tell passengers I am recording them? A: Recording and surveillance laws differ between Australian states and territories, and the rules around recording audio are stricter than the rules around video, so check what applies where you drive before you switch the cabin camera on. Many rideshare and taxi drivers use a visible in-car notice, and VIOFO include a warning sticker in the box for exactly that.
  • Q: Is a three-channel dash cam actually worth it over a two-channel? A: It is worth it if something regularly happens inside your vehicle. For rideshare, taxi, driving instructors and anyone carrying passengers they do not know, the cabin channel is the one that settles disputes. For a private commuter who only wants proof of what happened on the road, a two-channel setup covers the same ground for less.
  • Q: Will my existing VIOFO accessories work with the T330 3CH? A: Some will and some will not. The BTR200 Bluetooth remote and the BP100 battery pack both work. The hardwire kit does not carry over: the T330 needs the HK6-F specifically, not the HK6 or the HK3-C. The rear filter is the CPL-600, and the CPL-700 front filter is already in the box.
  • Q: Can I run parking mode from a battery pack instead of hardwiring? A: Yes. The VIOFO BP100 or BP60 battery pack powers parking mode from its own cells rather than your starter battery, and the camera reads the pack's charge level over Bluetooth so it can stop recording at a reserve you set. It is the option to take if you park overnight regularly or the car sits for days at a time.
  • Q: Can I use it without the cabin camera connected? A: Yes. The interior camera plugs into its own port, so you can leave it unplugged and run the T330 as a front and rear setup, then add the cabin channel later. Recordings are stored as separate files per channel, so leaving the interior camera off does not affect the front and rear footage.
