Genuine Replacement Bumper Camera for the WOLFBOX G900 TriPro. 1080p, weather-sealed, and it goes wherever you need it
The bumper camera is the whole point of the TriPro Bumper edition, and it is also the camera living the hardest life. It is mounted outside, low down, in the path of road spray, gravel and whatever the car in front throws up. If yours has been damaged, fogged, or torn off by a car park bollard, this is the genuine WOLFBOX replacement.
It is an exterior-rated camera on an approximately 6.4m lead, which is what makes it useful: it goes where a windscreen or mirror camera physically cannot, and it survives being there.
- Authorised AU reseller with genuine WOLFBOX stock
- Ships from Melbourne within 24 hours*
- 12 month warranty handled here in Australia
- Local technical support from dash cam specialists
- 30 Day No Worries returns
"Bumper" Means Anywhere, Not Just the Back
The name is a bit misleading, so let us clear it up. This is a fully weather-sealed camera on a long lead, and it is not locked to one end of the car. Mount it wherever the blind spot you care about actually is:
- Rear bumper: The most common choice. Sits below the tailgate for a low, wide reversing view, and catches number plates a rear-window camera would miss. We stock an Australian-plate mounting bracket built for exactly this.
- Front bumper: Close-range vision over the nose for tight nose-in parking, steep driveway lips, kerbs and bollards. Everything that lives in the metre of ground your bonnet hides.
- Underbody: Point it at the diff, the rear axle or a rock slider. Four-wheel drivers use it to watch clearance and articulation over obstacles without needing a spotter hanging off the bullbar.
- Anywhere else that makes sense: Inside a canopy, at a tow hitch to line up a coupling, or facing a tray. If you can route the lead to it and mount it solidly, it will work there.
You get one auxiliary channel, so choose the view you would actually want on video afterwards. Whichever position you pick, keep it clear of standing water and the exhaust, and tuck the connector up inside a panel rather than leaving it hanging.
Check This Is the Right Camera Before You Order
This camera fits the G900 TriPro Bumper edition only. It uses an AUX plug on the mirror side and a 4-pin connector on the camera side, which is a completely different connection to the 6-pin plugs used by every other G900 camera.
It will not work with a G900 TriPro Cabin, a standard G900 Pro, a G890 or a G850. Those use 6-pin rear window cameras. It also cannot be used on its own, because it has no recorder and relies entirely on the TriPro head unit.
If you are not certain which TriPro you own, email gday@dashcamguys.com.au with a photo of the plug on your existing camera and we will confirm it before you order.
DCG Score & Highlights
What We Love
- Genuine WOLFBOX part, so the third channel plugs straight in with no configuration
- Weather-sealed and built for permanent exterior mounting, unlike a rear window camera
- Mount it front, rear or underbody. The camera does not care which end of the car it lives at.
- Approximately 6.4m of lead, enough to reach the back of most SUVs and dual-cab utes
- Low mounting position captures plates and close obstacles that sit below bonnet height
What Could Be Better
- 1080p, so it is a step below the 4K front and 2.5K rear channels on the same unit
- Cannot record on its own, and depends entirely on the TriPro head unit
- 6.4m can be tight on long-wheelbase vans, though we stock a longer AUX bumper lead if you need it
Why an Exterior Camera Sees What Others Cannot
A mirror-mounted camera looks out through glass from about eye height. That is the right place for the road, and the wrong place for the metre of ground immediately around your car. Bollards, parking kerbs, tow bars, driveway lips and low walls all sit in a blind spot no windscreen camera can cover, and they account for a large share of the panel damage that never involves another vehicle.
Mounted low, the camera is also far closer to the number plate of whatever is behind or in front of you, which matters a great deal when the footage has to be readable rather than merely present. And pointed underneath, it shows you the one thing no mirror ever will: what your suspension and driveline are about to hit.
Top Practical Benefits
- Sees what mirrors miss: A low, wide angle shows posts, kerbs and ruts below bonnet height.
- Better plate capture: Sitting near bumper height puts plates squarely in frame.
- Built for outside: Weather-sealed for permanent exterior mounting in any position.
- Genuinely useful off-road: An underbody view of the diff or axle beats guessing at clearance.
- Third recorded angle: Adds evidence right at the point of contact, where most disputes start.

FAQ
FAQ
- Q: Will it work with the G900 TriPro Cabin Version? → A: It is designed for the TriPro Bumper Version. Contact us to check harness compatibility before ordering.
- Q: Is the housing weatherproof? → A: Yes, it is built for exterior mounting on the bumper or lower grille.
- Q: How long is the cable? → A: Around 21 ft, suitable for most SUVs, utes and vans. Ask us about extension options for extra-long vehicles.
