Fitted to an Aussie plate it overhangs, needs bending, or asks for fresh holes in your bumper. So we sourced one that suits ours. This stainless steel number plate bracket is sized for standard and slimline Australian plates, and holds the rear camera from a WOLFBOX G900 Pro or G900 TriPro mirror dash cam neatly centred on your plate. Who This Isn't For: If your number plate is held on by the outer-most screw holes rather than the two centre screws, this bracket will not line up. It is also built around the WOLFBOX G900 Pro and G900 TriPro rear camera, so it is not a universal mount for every dash cam or reversing camera brand. Running something else? Good to Know

• The best fit is on a vehicle with raised stand-offs where the plate screws in. If your plate mounts sit flat or are recessed into the body, the metal bracket can rest hard against the paint, so add soft padding, a suitable washer or foam behind it to stop road vibration marking the paintwork over time.
• No screws are supplied. The bracket fits using your original number plate screws.
• The camera is not included. This bracket is for the rear camera supplied with the WOLFBOX G900 Pro and G900 TriPro.
• A plate-mounted camera sits lower than a rear window camera, so it shows more of the bumper zone when reversing and a little less of the traffic further back.
• You still need to route the rear camera cable from the plate into the cabin, usually through the boot lid or tailgate grommet.

Why Mount Your Rear Camera on the Number Plate

Mounted inside on the rear glass, it looks through window tint, rain, dust and whatever is on the parcel shelf, and night footage suffers most. How It Fits

1. Remove the two centre screws holding your number plate and keep them, as they are what holds the bracket in place.
2. Check the mounting points. If they are raised stand-offs, you are good to go. If they sit flat or recessed into the body, put soft padding, a suitable washer or foam where the bracket would touch the paint.
3. Attach the WOLFBOX rear camera to the bracket's centre mounting point and set a rough angle.
4. Place the bracket between the plate and the vehicle, line it up with the centre holes, and refit your original screws.
5. Route the camera cable into the vehicle through the boot lid or tailgate, connect it to the mirror, then fine-tune the angle using the live view.

Fitting the bracket itself takes a few minutes. Running the cable into the cabin takes longer, because it usually means lifting some boot or tailgate trim. Every vehicle is a little different, so use your best judgement on padding and placement. We are a retailer and do not install cameras, but you can find a local installer in our directory of independent installers. They are independent businesses, so you book and contract directly with them.
