1. Why is my Vantrue E2 saying "Card Error" or "Format SD Card"?
Standard issue, mate. This usually means the card is either brand new and needs formatting, or it's too slow for dual 2.5K recording. The E2 hates cheap cards. Make sure you're using a U3 Class 10 card (like a Vantrue High Endurance card or Samsung Endurance) and format it directly inside the camera menu (System Setup > Format SD Card).
2. Why isn't my GPS speed showing on the video?
The GPS receiver is actually built into the magnetic mount, not the camera itself. First, make sure you've plugged the power cable into the mount, not the side of the camera. Second, jump into the menu and ensure "GPS Stamps" are turned ON.
3. The remote control isn't doing anything. Is it busted?
Likely just a flat battery or it needs re-pairing. There's a tiny LED on the Vantrue BT02 remote - if it doesn't light up when you press a button, swap the CR2032 battery. If it lights up but does nothing, hold the Lock button on the Vantrue BT02 remote to re-sync it with the dash cam.
4. Does the E2 record when my car is parked?
