Who This Isn't For: If you want the third camera outside the car watching the ground in front of the bar, the WOLFBOX G900 TriPro Bumper uses the same head unit with a waterproof bumper camera. If you rarely carry passengers, the two-channel WOLFBOX G900 Pro is the simpler fit.   • The cabin camera is built for inside the car and is not waterproof, so it cannot double as an exterior camera.
  • It comes on a short 0.5-metre lead and sits near the mirror. To mount it further back and see the rear row clearly, add the WOLFBOX 5.5m cabin camera cable.
  • Parking mode needs constant power from a WOLFBOX hardwire kit or the WOLFBOX OBD kit.
  • The rear camera cable is about 6 metres, shorter than the Bumper version's 10 metres. Long vans and wagons may need the WOLFBOX 3m extension cable.

A cabin camera records the part of the trip your front and rear cameras cannot see: who got in, what was said, and what happened in the back seat. When a passenger disputes a fare, reports a problem or leaves damage behind, that footage turns two conflicting accounts into one clear record.

Infrared is what makes it useful on the shifts that matter. Most rideshare trouble happens late at night, when a normal interior camera sees little more than dark shapes. The TriPro Cabin's infrared LEDs light the cabin with light the camera can see and passengers cannot, so the footage stays usable without a glare in the mirror. The trade-off is the rules. How Does the WOLFBOX G900 TriPro Cabin Install?

  1. Strap the mirror over your existing rear-view mirror, or fit a vehicle-specific WOLFBOX OEM-style mirror bracket for a firmer mount.
  2. Stick the cabin camera to the windscreen near the mirror with the included electrostatic sticker, aim it at the seats and plug its lead into the mirror.
  3. Run the rear camera cable along the headlining to the back of the vehicle and fix the rear camera inside on the rear glass or outside above the number plate. Tape over any exposed connectors, because WOLFBOX notes they are not waterproof.
  4. Plug in the GPS module, connect the rear camera's red wire to the reverse light for guide lines, then power it through the fuse box or the OBD port.

With everything inside the car, the Cabin is a quicker install than the Bumper version. The rear camera run is the slow part.

The Cabin version has an infrared camera that faces the inside of the car and is not waterproof. The Bumper version has a waterproof 1080p camera that mounts outside at the front. The mirror, the 4K front and the 2.5K rear are the same, and the other third camera can be bought separately later.
  • Q: Can the cabin camera see passengers at night? A: Yes. It has infrared LEDs that light the cabin with light the camera can see and people cannot, so faces and movement stay on record on a late-night trip without a visible glow in the mirror.
  • Q: Can I record the whole back seat? A: The cabin camera comes on a 0.5-metre lead, so it sits near the mirror, where front-seat occupants and headrests can block part of the rear row.   • Q: Can I use the cabin camera for rideshare? A: It depends on where you drive.
