Four Angles, One Camera, Nothing in Your Eyeline. The VIOFO T340TW 4CH records 4K ahead, 2K through a 4x optical zoom telephoto, 2K of the cabin in infrared and 2K from a sealed rear camera that mounts outside
Three-channel cameras make you pick which problem you care about. Cover the cabin and you give up the telephoto that reads a plate three cars ahead. Take the telephoto and the inside of the car is a blind spot, which is the one angle a rideshare driver or a fleet actually needs on record. Put the rear camera behind glass and a tray, a load or a trailer fills the frame. The T340TW stops making you choose.
Trusted AU store: We're an authorised Australian reseller, shipping from Melbourne within 24 hours*. You get an 18-month warranty with no product registration required, local technical support, and our 30-Day No-Worries returns.
Who This Isn't For: The rear camera here is a sealed unit built to mount on the outside of the vehicle, so the cable has to pass through bodywork to reach it. If you want a rear camera stuck inside the rear window, the VIOFO A329TC 3CH covers front, telephoto and cabin without an exterior mount. This one is for utes, vans, trucks and caravans where the back of the vehicle is the whole point.
Check Before You Order
- This listing is the 8m waterproof and 1m telephoto configuration. VIOFO lists the cable supplied with the 8m option as 7.5m. We do not stock the other cable lengths for this model.
- Parking mode needs a hardwire kit. The car charger in the box powers the camera while the engine runs. Parked recording needs the VIOFO HK6-F kit from our hardwire kit range, bought separately.
- The rear camera mounts outside. It fixes above the number plate or beside a roof antenna with the two supplied screws, and the cable routes through into the cabin.
- The cabin camera is built into the front unit. It films the interior and both side windows from the windscreen, so it cannot be aimed or repositioned on its own.
DCG Highlights
What We Love
- Four HDR channels recording at once, 4K up front plus three separate 2K feeds, rather than the 1080p side and rear channels most four-camera systems fall back on
- Three Sony STARVIS 2 sensors, an IMX678 up front and IMX675 on the telephoto and the waterproof rear, which is what keeps a plate legible under oncoming headlights instead of blooming into white
- 4x optical zoom on the telephoto rather than a digital crop, so distant plate detail is actually captured rather than enlarged after the fact
- The 210 degree infrared cabin camera is built into the front body, covering the interior and both side windows after dark with no second unit stuck to the windscreen
- An IP67 rated rear camera made for exterior mounting, so it can sit above the number plate on a ute or a van instead of behind glass that a tray or trailer fills
- No screen at all, so the front unit tucks behind the rearview mirror and gives a passer-by nothing to notice
- Wi-Fi 6 on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz, which pulls a 4K clip to your phone in a fraction of the time an older 2.4GHz camera takes
- Four-channel multiplex export writes every angle into one synchronised file, so an insurer gets one video rather than four
Good to Know
- Parking mode of any kind needs the HK6-F hardwire kit bought separately, from our hardwire kit range. Cut-off voltage and the Bluetooth battery voltage readout come from that kit, not the camera.
- The interior camera uses an OmniVision OS04J10 sensor, not a Sony STARVIS 2 like the other three. VIOFO's triple STARVIS 2 claim covers the front, telephoto and waterproof rear channels.
- VIOFO's part number for this configuration ends in 128GB, but their published packing list does not show a card. Four HDR channels fill a card quickly either way, so most drivers move to 256GB or larger from our memory card range.
- The telephoto lens sees 35 degrees. It is a reach lens, and it does not widen your coverage or replace the wide front camera.
Why Four Channels Need Four Different Lenses
A four-channel dash cam is only worth the install if the four lenses are doing four different jobs. Sensor resolution is a fixed budget spread across whatever the lens takes in, so a wide lens spends its pixels on width and a narrow lens spends them on distance. The VIOFO T340TW 4CH splits that budget deliberately: 140 degrees at 4K for the road ahead, 35 degrees at 2K through 4x optical zoom for plates several cars away, 210 degrees at 2K with infrared for the cabin and both side windows, and 160 degrees at 2K on a sealed rear camera mounted outside the vehicle. Four cameras all shooting 140 degrees would just hand you four copies of the same compromise. The honest trade-off is install time and storage, because four HDR channels take longer to route and fill a card faster than two.
Top Benefits
- Plates you can actually read: the 4x optical zoom telephoto captures plate detail several cars ahead, where a wide lens records only a shape.
- The inside on record too: the built-in 210 degree infrared cabin camera covers passengers and both side windows after dark, which is the angle rideshare and fleet drivers get asked for.
- Rear cover that handles weather: the IP67 rear camera mounts outside on a tray, a van door or a bumper, so a load or a trailer never blocks the view.
- Nothing on show: the screenless front body sits behind the mirror, which keeps the camera unremarkable to anyone looking in.
- Evidence off the camera faster: Wi-Fi 6 moves a locked 4K clip to your phone in the VIOFO app without pulling the card out.
- One file to send: four-channel multiplex recording merges every angle into a single synchronised video, so a claim or a police report needs one attachment.
- Parked cover without a flat battery: hybrid parking recording drops to low power impact detection at your cut-off, and the HK6-F cuts power at the voltage you set.
How It Installs
- Stick the front unit high on the windscreen behind the rearview mirror, using a supplied static sticker so the mount can be moved later. The cabin camera and its infrared LEDs sit in that same body, so where you aim the front unit decides where the cabin view lands.
- Mount the telephoto camera on the windscreen near the front unit on its 1m cable, aimed straight down the road.
- Fix the waterproof rear camera outside with the two supplied screws, then route the 7.5m cable through into the cabin and forward along the trim.
- Plug in the supplied dual USB-C car charger, or fit the HK6-F kit to the fuse box for parking mode. Hardwiring means removing lower dash trim and finding an earth point.
- Fit the memory card, set the time zone and parking mode in the VIOFO app, then fit the tamper-resistant cover and the infrared cabin camera cover.
Budget three to four hours for a tidy first install, longer on a dual cab where the rear cable has to cross a tub. We do not install cameras ourselves, but you can find someone local in our directory of independent installers. They are independent businesses, so you book and contract directly with them.

Not included: the HK6-F hardwire kit, the BTR200 Bluetooth remote, the CPL-600 telephoto filter and a dedicated battery pack. VIOFO's part number for this configuration ends in 128GB but their packing list does not show a card, so treat storage as something to confirm rather than assume.
Fitment & Compatibility
- Vehicles: sedans, SUVs, utes, vans, trucks and caravans on a 12V or 24V system. The exterior rear camera suits a ute tray, a van rear door, a bumper or a roof line.
- Hardwire kit: VIOFO HK6-F only. The HK6, HK6-A and HK4 kits suit other VIOFO families, not the T340.
- CPL filters: the magnetic CPL-700 front filter is included. The telephoto takes the VIOFO CPL-600, sold separately from our CPL filter range. VIOFO states the cabin and waterproof rear cameras need none.
- Remote: VIOFO BTR200 Bluetooth remote, sold separately, with a range VIOFO quotes at 5 metres.
- Battery packs: VIOFO states the BP100 and BP60 packs can run parking mode on their own power, sold separately.
- Storage: microSD up to 512GB. There is no SSD support on this model.
- Replacement cameras: the telephoto camera is the VIOFO RTC420 and the waterproof rear camera is the RWC400. Both are the same modules VIOFO uses on the A329 platform, so a replacement for either fits this camera.
- Not compatible with: VIOFO A229 and A129 series cameras and cables, which use different connectors, and every hardwire kit except the HK6-F. VIOFO does not confirm that A329 replacement cables carry across, so check with us before ordering a longer cable.
- Australian fitment: this is a universal windscreen fit, so VIOFO publishes no vehicle list. If you are unsure the rear cable can be routed on your vehicle, email a photo of the back of the car to gday@dashcamguys.com.au and we will tell you what we would do.
Cover Every Angle Today
Add the VIOFO T340TW 4CH and put the road, the distance, the cabin and the weather behind you on the same recording. Most drivers add the HK6-F from our hardwire kit range and a larger card from our memory card range at the same time. If you are still weighing up how many channels you need, our 4-channel dash cam range lines the options up side by side. Ships from Melbourne within 24 hours*, with an 18-month warranty and our 30-Day No-Worries returns.

One Single File, Instant Sharing
Multiplex Video. Merge multiple camera feeds into a single video file for full-coverage playback. The T340 makes it easy to generate multi-perspective footage that is ready to review, export, or share instantly, with no editing required. Combining front, telephoto, rear, and interior views into one synchronized file gives a complete, indisputable record in a single video.

Faster Transfers, Voice Control and GPS
Faster Transfers, Instant Downloads. Experience faster, more stable transfer with dual-band 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi 6 technology. Use the VIOFO Dashcam App to preview live footage, update settings, and save videos to your phone in seconds without cables.

Say the Word, Stay in Control. Focus on driving while the T340 handles the rest. Easily lock footage or take snapshots using simple voice commands in multiple languages. Proactive voice alerts keep you informed of memory card errors or setting changes. Note: supports English, Chinese (Mandarin), Russian, and Japanese for voice control.
Precise Tracking, Powerful Evidence. From city drives to cross-country trips, the T340 keeps every mile documented. Quad-mode satellite coverage (GPS, BeiDou, Galileo, and GLONASS) provides clear, reliable records of your speed, location, and timestamps on every video playback.
Parking Mode: 24/7 Peace of Mind
Note: to use parking mode, a VIOFO HK6-F hardwire kit is required and sold separately. Cut-off voltage is only available with the VIOFO hardwire kit.
Capture More, Consume Less. Hybrid parking starts in time-lapse, low-bitrate or event-detection recording, then switches to impact detection once your set cut-off time or battery voltage is reached.

Ultra-Low Draw, Instant Guard. Very low power draw makes this mode ideal for long parking sessions. The T340 waits in standby with impact detection always on, waking within 2 seconds to record a one-minute clip.
Time Lapse Recording. Capture footage without audio at optional frame rates of 1 / 2 / 3 / 5 / 10 fps to conserve storage space and power. With Super Night Vision, the time-lapse footage is brighter and clearer, even in near-total darkness.
Low Bitrate Recording. Records continuously at a reduced bitrate to extend recording time and save storage while parked. Auto Event Detection. Detects motion and impacts around your parked car, automatically saving the moments before and after each event.
Set Zones, Save Power. Define trusted locations, your home garage or workplace, and the T340 shuts down there instead of entering parking mode. Enable Low Power Impact Recording to keep impact detection on inside those zones.

Low Voltage Cutoff. If voltage ever drops below the level set on the hardwire kit cutoff switch, power is cut entirely to protect the battery. Voltage Display via Bluetooth. Check your car battery real-time voltage in the VIOFO Dashcam App via Bluetooth, anytime.

Longer Parking, Zero Battery Drain
Pair with the VIOFO BP100 or BP60 battery pack (sold separately) and parking mode runs on the battery pack own power, for hours longer, with your vehicle battery untouched. Connected to the battery pack, the dash cam reads its level wirelessly and ends parking recording at the reserve you choose (5% / 8% / 10% / 15%). The reserve keeps impact detection armed, so the camera can still wake and record if the car is hit.

Check the battery pack level on the app home screen, even while the dash cam is off. The dashboard adds charging status, temperature, input and output readings, and the estimated remaining runtime.

Enable the Battery Pack Capacity stamp and every clip records the remaining battery level at the moment of recording, useful context when reviewing a parking incident days later.

Press It, Protect It
Instant Emergency Lock. One touch is all it takes. Alongside automatic G-sensor impact locking, the side button lets you instantly secure key moments whenever you want. Footage of road incidents, hit-and-runs, or close calls will not be overwritten easily.

Everything for a Clean Install
Cleaner Installation, Better Protection. Protect your dash cam from unauthorized access. The tamper-resistant cover prevents unauthorized tampering or accidental disconnections while maintaining a clean, professional install.

Slim Design, Neat Installation. Easily tuck the ultra-slim coaxial cables behind car panels for a clean, hidden install. Get high-speed and interference-free performance that keeps your electronics running smoothly.
Two Ports, Double Convenience. Charge two devices at once. Featuring a 30W Type-C fast-charging port and a 15W dash cam port, this car charger includes a soft-glow ring for quick, easy plugging at night. Do NOT connect your dash cam to the orange port. It will not power your dash cam.
Made to Fit, Tested to Last
No Glare, No Reflections. Cut through glare with ease. The snap-on magnetic front and optional telephoto CPL filters reduce windshield reflections and road glare, delivering clear and natural-looking footage.
One Press, Safety Access. Stick the Bluetooth remote anywhere convenient to secure critical footage in one press and configure the side buttons to access your favorite features instantly. Control range: up to 5 meters.
Built to Record, Made to Last. Do not risk dropped frames or missing evidence. Built for constant dash cam recording, VIOFO industrial-grade microSD cards ensure smooth, error-free storage on every journey. For optimal performance, we recommend using a VIOFO microSD card.

FAQ
FAQ
- Q: Does a memory card come in the box? Treat it as unconfirmed for now. VIOFO's own part number for this configuration ends in 128GB, but the packing list they publish does not show a card. We are confirming the carton contents with the supplier and will tell you either way if you email gday@dashcamguys.com.au. Either way, four HDR channels fill a card fast, so a 256GB or 512GB industrial card is the usual next step.
- Q: Is this a wireless dash cam? No, and no four-channel dash cam is. The Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth are for your phone and the BTR200 remote, not for the camera feeds. Each of the three secondary cameras runs on its own slim coaxial cable back to the front unit, and the front unit needs a 5V supply from the car charger or the HK6-F hardwire kit.
- Q: Will the cabin camera see anything at night with tinted windows? Yes inside the car, because the infrared LEDs built into the front unit light the interior themselves and do not rely on street lighting. What they cannot do is light the world outside the glass, so a tinted side window will still look dark in the recording after dark. The 210 degree lens covers the front seats, the rear seats and both side windows.
- Q: What is the real downside of running four channels? Storage and install time. Four HDR streams write roughly twice the data of a two-channel camera, so a card that lasted a fortnight on a front and rear setup will loop over in days. The install is longer too, because the telephoto, the exterior rear camera and the power lead all need routing separately.
- Q: Can I mount the waterproof rear camera on a caravan or a trailer? Only if the cable can reach and stay connected, which a towed trailer usually cannot do. The supplied cable is 7.5m and it is a fixed coaxial run back to the front unit, so it suits the vehicle itself, a ute tray, a van rear door or a canopy. For a separate trailer you would need the camera on the tow vehicle instead.
- Q: Do I need the CPL-600 filter for the telephoto camera? Not to record, only to cut reflections. The magnetic CPL-700 for the front camera is already in the box. The telephoto sits behind the same windscreen, so on a light-coloured dash or in flat glare a CPL-600 makes a visible difference to plate legibility. VIOFO states the cabin and waterproof rear cameras do not need one.
- Q: Will it flatten my car battery while parked? Not if the cut-off is set. Parking mode only runs with the HK6-F hardwire kit, and that kit has a physical slide switch that cuts power at a voltage you choose, plus a Bluetooth voltage readout in the app. If you would rather the vehicle battery was never touched, the BP100 or BP60 battery pack runs parking mode on its own power instead.
- Q: Can I run it in a 24V truck? Yes. The HK6-F hardwire kit accepts 12V and 24V systems and steps it down to the 5V the camera needs, so the T340TW suits a light truck or a heavy rigid as well as a car. The supplied cigarette lighter charger also works where a 24V socket is fitted.
- Q: Can I still use it if I only want three of the four cameras? Yes, the telephoto and the waterproof rear both unplug, and the camera records the channels that are connected. It is worth saying plainly though that if you know you will never fit one of them, a three-channel model costs less and installs faster. Ask us and we will point you at the right one rather than sell you a spare camera.
