Parking Guard Options

Parking modes help protect your car when parked. The included hardwire kit also features a voltage display so you can check battery voltage at a glance.

Buffered Motion Detection

In buffered motion mode, the cameras start recording when motion is detected and can include footage from before and after the trigger (timing depends on settings).

Collision Detection

Records when an impact is detected while parked.

Low Bitrate Recording

Reduces file size while still keeping coverage running (quality and frame rate depend on your configuration).

Low Frame Rate Recording

Time-lapse style recording captures fewer frames per second to save space. Playback is accelerated. Note: audio is typically not recorded in this mode.

GPS Recording & Tracking

Built-in GPS can record speed and route data for playback in the Vantrue app/player (where supported).

  • Q: Will the rear 1080P read plates on the freeway? → A: It captures close-range plates and overall context. For distant plates at speed, lighting and angle matter most, while the front 2.7K offers higher detail.
  • Q: Which microSD card should I choose? → A: Use a high-endurance U3/V30 card sized to your driving. Larger capacities like 256GB to 1TB reduce overwrite frequency.
